Panthera Implant can help you design the proper structure for your eye prostheses.

All our structures are made of titanium or Zirconia and are available on all implant platforms.

For this case, we have copied the wax-up of 3 individual abutments and, with the help of specialized computer software, we have changed the shape of the abutments to allow for a magnet attachment to be screwed on it.

With this unique product, the patient can now easily remove the eye prosthesis, and the magnet can also be replaced readily, if needed.

Case review #14778

“Through a working relationship with Panthera, the iRSM (Institute for Reconstructive Sciences in Medicine) has been able to innovate and create patient-specific infrastructures for the connection of implants in advanced jaw reconstructions, and design patient-specific abutments for facial prosthetic reconstructions.

The ability to digitally design and manufacture these components has made our work more efficient and greatly contributed to patient care in complex situations.”

Part of the iRSM team: Carolyn Kincade (Osseointegration Technologist), Lindsay McHutchion (Anaplastologist), and Dr. John Wolfaardt (Maxillofacial Prosthodontist).
